Finding your level

Where you'd
start

What runs each week, so you can see where you'd fit — and where to begin if you're new to tango.

The weekly classes

Sunday evenings, levels 2 to 5.

Both courses build on some tango you already have, which is what lets an hour go to musicality and improvisation rather than to the walk. Here is what they assume, so you can place yourself.

01

Some tango behind you

A term or two anywhere, or a year of milongas. It does not have to have been with us.

02

At home in the embrace

Walking with a partner, keeping your own axis, finding your way through ochos and a giro.

03

Danced in pairs

Come with someone if you can. If you cannot, write to us — helping people pair up is part of the job.

04

Sunday evenings

Both courses run on Sunday. There is no weekday class at the moment.

New to tango

A beginner course is coming.

We are not running one at this moment, which is a gap in our schedule rather than anything about you — plenty of people in these classes started somewhere else. The next one has no date yet, so write to us and we will tell you as soon as it does. In the meantime the open práctica is there whenever you want it: no course to join, no partner needed, and nobody minds where you are starting from.
